Yes, it happened again. Tim Hortons just increased the price of their coffee.
Despite all the bad news involving the popular coffee chain this year, Tim Hortons have decided they’re going to charge you more money for their same old, increasingly less popular coffees.
This is the 4th year in a row that the price goes up!
Yesterday in Quebec, the price of a medium coffee went from $1,94 to $2.
It may not seem like much, but this just keeps happening every year which means that back in 2014, the same coffee would have only cost $1,70.
The price increase is happening all across the country, and as we expected Canadians are getting really angry:
So @TimHortons has raised coffee prices yet again so I guess it's time to switch and be 100% @McDonalds coffee drinker since they appreciate their customers and you can collect the stickers for a free coffee
@TimHortons Was there a price increase on coffee in the Ontario stores this week? Nothing advertised but the location I go to each day raised the prices by $0.05, is this across the board or just this location? Small is now $1.60. #nowarningofincrease
@TimHortons I remember when businesses had a good relationship with customers. They'd even inform us of pending price increases. Clearly Tim's is above this courtesy. Arrogant.
.@TimHortons, Its all good if you need to bump up the price of my coffee by a dime so you can afford to put sleeves around the cup. Shits hot...
Some are even questioning the logic of this move. After all, why would Tim Hortons raise their prices at the same time that their competitors are lowering their prices for the holidays?
And it's not just coffee. Ice caps and other drink prices are also increasing significantly.
It’s still unreal that the price of an ice Capp at @TimHortons has grown by 1 dollar and the size of it has decreased significantly in the last few years. It is insanely unreasonably priced now
